Whose turn next

I guess weddings around the Tet Festivities are guaranteed good fortune...
Still that's no consolation for the bridesmaids lined up like dolls outside a District 1 hotel in Saigon waiting for the official photog to get his act together, and for that prince out there somewhere, maybe a Viet Khieu with his pockets lined with greenbacks...
Hope springs eternal in the hearts of these bored Saigon demoiselles on a warm February evening.

Favourite for me. Why? The rainbow of colour in the whole photo, most notably the purple dresses, the neon glow of the lights behind and the yellow lettering on that deep red. This project seems to be spinning into a project on the side, one with wild splashes of colour!

Hey brother, I prefer this one over the close up you had posted earlier.  Not that it was a bad photo, but this one just is nicer to look at for me.  They seem thrilled to be there.

A full-house of lilacs.  Four of a kind, in fact.  That's a winning hand.  But, I have to say, while this one keeps the parade of colors going in stylish form, it does feel out out-of-touch with the rest of the series to me, given that they are all outside at night.  So . . . not so sure this one belongs in this project.  Maybe as the project develops I'll change my mind, though.  As a single photo, I love the four different looks you captured on their faces.

Talking about cornyness...
Like a positive/negative interpretation of Maciek's wild Cardiff nights : another place, another feel (less alcohol and puking) though Barbie dresses and gorgeous night tones remain.
