Not being an IT expert - I stagger my way around Microsoft Office with varying degrees of incompetence - I had no idea until yesterday that most browsers are blind to the colour-space of what they are seeing. So, even if you are looking at Simon's orange-robed monks on a colour-calibrated monitor, you may not be seeing them as Simon intended you to see them if you are using IE or Chrome. . .

What you should be using is v3 of Mozilla Firefox with the optional (and free) 'Color Management' (sic) add-on installed. Even if you don't define a profile for it to use, the improvement in the hues and saturation of certain images is marked. I think Mac users can benefit from colour-managed surfing using the latest Safari (but as the network people in the office keep us tied into Windows. . .).
