Very nice portrait with beautiful perspective, sharp but soft colors and tones, the quality of the image is very high.  It brings me back to my trip there last year.  I wonder the exact places you took your shots.
cheers,
Cristian

Hey brother.
What cought my attention here are the very different reviews for this image, from Steve's and CT not so warm comments, to very interesting observation by Francis and search for the deeper meaning by Hugh, for that alone you can assume it's a winning proposition since it creates such a diverse response.

I am with Steve and CT here, I would even go further and equate Holga's technical shortcomings to some cheap PS tricks, the burnt out areas and the scary 13 numbers are so prominent that they clearly overpower what could have been a quite successfull, well fitting into the project, image. I gather my opinion is similar to couple of other technically overpowered images in this spectacular project.

I am surprised nobody commented on this one. I like it, it is a very dynamic shot.

I completely agree with Luko, it looks much better now, that you have removed the on coming cars. The alpaca also looks better without his ears cut...

I would like to like this shot, but the cars and the drivers waiting on the side of road , puts too much emphasize on how we are moving too fast in this too vast world, we should be given the option of living a few more lifes to catch everything (I want a partial refund!).

This is quintessential Andes.
They claim Alpaca meat is almost cholesterol-free. You should be ok. Tried the roasted guinea pigs?

This is terrific - the contrast between the modern cocoon of the car and the crisply rendered fellow on the mule ahead...
